Human resources are the company's most vital assets, which essentially function as a driving factor for every activity within the company. The existence of human resources in the company should not be replaced by other resources. Therefore, human resource management is needed to improve the quality of the company's human resources. One of the factors that can improve the performance of human resources is the work environment, both physical work environment and non-physical work environment. One of the efforts made by PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kotabaru in producing good employee performance and even improving employee performance is by creating a comfortable, safe, conducive, and pleasant work environment. Employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kotabaru will feel at home in their work environment and will affect their performance and the work will be completed properly, on time and employees will feel happy with their work. This study aims to determine the effect of physical and nonphysical work environments on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kotabaru. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods, data analysis using SPSS statistical program 25. The population and sample are 43 people. The results of the study partially show that the physical work environment has no effect on employee performance, while the non-physical work environment affects employee performance. Taken together, the research results show that the physical and non-physical work environment variables affect employee performance.
